Paintworks Event Space is the perfect venue for Corporate events. Whether it's for Award Nights, Product Launches, Presentations, Conferences, Lectures, Meetings & AGM’s, Training Days or Workshops the Event Space provides an alternative and invigorating venue in the heart of Bristol's creative quarter.

Weddings and parties

Paintworks Event Space is a fabulous alternative venue for wedding receptions, parties and celebrations, with a full licence for ceremonies. Its mixture of exposed brick, stone and steel work make it an exciting and dynamic place to hold a party and the size of the space creates a sense of scale that’s perfect for important occasions.

Exhibitions

The Event Space makes for a stunning Exhibition venue and has played host to some of Bristol's most notable exhibitions over the past 3 years. From fantastic solo exhibitions to large collective shows, these are just a few of our recent exhibitions: Carol Peace 2006 and 2008, Dreweatts Urban Art, Bristol Contemporary Open, Graffle Raffle, UWE and Jimmy Galvin & Alison Black.

Paintworks Main Courtyard - Open to Sculptors

Paintworks is offering it's main open-air communal courtyard  to established and up and coming sculptors for year-round temporary exhibitions, free of charge. The Main Courtyard is an aesthetically striking, well used area adjoining the popular Event Space and Bocabar.

Measuring 17.5m x 20m, (350 square metres), the courtyards wooden decked surface is punctuated by four centrally located steel girders. Six offices and the Event Space are located off the Courtyard, which is accessed by a staircase from the main site road, or a level access walkway running down to the River Road.
