In the summer of 2012, Peroni Nastro Azzurro inspired by the Italian love of all things al fresco during the summer months, created Opera di Peroni - an immersive introduction to the opera experience performed in iconic locations around the UK. In early 2013 Opera di Peroni will return. Taking inspiration from the grandeur and opulence of the winter opera season at La Scala in Milan, Peroni Nastro Azzurro will again collaborate with renowned musician, producer and electronic artist Kwes and innovative opera producers GO OPERA, to create a reimagining of Puccini’s La Rondine. 

The event will run for only two nights at Paintworks on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th March. A taste of the main events, and a glimpse into the heroine's past and her romantic encounter with a handsome stranger, can be gained by going to in-bar performances happening across Bristol, in the run up to the main events.
