Exhibitions
The Event Space makes for a stunning Exhibition venue and has played host to some of Bristol's most notable exhibitions over the past 6 years. From fantastic solo exhibitions to large collective shows, these are just a few of our recent exhibitions: The Sunday Times 50th Year Anniversary 2012, Avonmouth to the Amazon by Barry Cawston 2010, Kathryn Thomas Lightyears 2009, Carol Peace 2006 and 2008, Dreweatts Urban Art, Bristol Contemporary Open, Graffle Raffle and UWE.

Paintworks Main Courtyard - Open to Sculptors
Paintworks is offering its main open-air communal courtyard to established and up and coming sculptors for year-round temporary exhibitions, free of charge. The Main Courtyard is an aesthetically striking, well used area adjoining the popular Event Space and Bocabar.
Measuring 17.5m x 20m, (350 square metres), the courtyards wooden decked surface is punctuated by four centrally located steel girders. Six offices and the Event Space are located off the Courtyard, which is accessed by a staircase from the main site road, or a level access walkway running down to the River Road.
